Menu for Freaky Friday!

With Freakier Friday now in theaters, it is time to organize a full day menu organized around its prequel film Freaky Friday. Don't worry, I'll get to the sequel next week. I have to watch it first, haven't I? Let's start with breakfast. Now there's not much to go on in terms of breakfast items for the film, aside from one. When Tess ends up in Anna's body, she tells Harry to go have Anna's (her) cereal. We see the scene from Anna's and Tess's point of views as they slowly creep downstairs to find Harry and Grandpa sitting at the table having breakfast. So, pick your favorite cereal to start your day with your choice of breakfast beverage, but knowing Tess she would ensure her kids were having healthy drinks like OJ or milk. Lunch is relatively easy, if you remember this scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a05oFa3TyWc Here, you can easily stop at McDonald's and grab yourself your favorite combo meal. True, you could do any fast food joint lik...

Freaky Friday Watch Party Ideas!

In honor of Freakier Friday being released in theaters today, I've decided to sprinkle some of my creative ideas here, and also what I found through my hunt through the web. Food is relatively easy. The film centers mostly on the Chinese fortune cookie having the magic to make both mother and daughter, Tess and Anna, switch bodies for a day. The magic occurred when they visited the Chinese restaurant The House of Chang. Interestingly enough, P.F. Chang's is doing a limited time menu from now till September 2nd, 2025 in celebration of Freaky Friday and its upcoming sequel. It would be a great move saving time on getting ingredients and cooking the meal yourself, or you could certainly enjoy a festive meal here before hitting the theaters to watch the sequel. The details are in the link below. https://www.laughingplace.com/disney-entertainment/freakier-friday-menu-at-pf-chang/   As for decor for a movie watch or a birthday or whatever, there isn't much, sadly. Don't fr...

Welcome!

This is the Festive Witch blog. Most know me as the Questing Bard. Here I'll be known as the Festive Witch. I am not a party person, but I am a festive person. What does that mean? This means I am not into partying for the sake of partying like night clubs, drinks, and loud music. I am someone who enjoys celebrating the many events that come and go in our lives whether they be a holiday, birthday, or an afternoon tea setting with friends with unique and vibrant themes. Theming is my thing and creative juice that comes with it. Now, upfront I will make this very clear - I am not a party planner or some interior designer or decorator. I am just a creative person, who loves to primarily put her creativity to paper and pen, but I also love the idea of implementing these ideas in festive ways. Here on this blog, I will share creative ideas with budget, theme, event, number of guests, and location in mind. Now, my blog will primarily focus on themes that are mostly near and dear like bo...
